Delores Strode, Rock Island, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island.
Her body was cremated as per her wishes, and there will be a private committal service at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation or a favorite charity.
She was born Sept. 5, 1948, in Rock Island, the daughter of Harold and Lucille Luckey Strode.
She had been a truck driver.
Survivors (and spouses) are sons, Joseph Daniel (Maryann) Raychel, Hampton, and James Raychel, Peoria; four grandchildren; sisters, Margee (Larry) VandeViere, Rock Island, and Gloria (Mike) Jeffcoat, Aledo; a niece and a nephew.
Committal services for Delores Strode, 52, Rock Island, are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is in charge of arrangements.
