Jacqueline Stewart Nunn

Funeral services for Jacqueline Nunn, 55, of Rock Island, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church, Rock Island, with Rev. Joseph Williamson III officiating.  She departed this life on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at her home after an extended illness.  Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday and 8-10 a.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Orr's Mortuary, Rock Island.

She was born Aug. 8, 1948, in Denison, Texas, the daughter of Johnie and Terecer (Cole) Stewart.  She married Leonard Nunn on Aug. 5, 1967.  She attended Black Hawk College.  She had been employed in customer service in the banking industry until March 1994.  She was a member of the church and Project Hope.

Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and grandparents, Arthur and Kate Cole and Archie and Mary Stewart.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband; sons, Brian Nunn, Rock Island, and Blake Nunn, Davenport; sisters, Delores Hamilton, Chicago, Ill., Edna Morris, Joliet, Ill., Rochelle Harvey, Nedra Clark and Bobbie Jean Lastrapes, Rock Island; brothers, Nathaniel, Cairo, Ill., Howard, Palm Coast, Fla., Norman, San Antonio, Texas, Elliot, Conyers, Ga., and Joseph Stewart, Rock Island; and grandchildren, Kristina, Hampton, Ga., Blake Jr., Bellevue, Mich., Kaylee, Ki'ahra and Kennedy, Davenport, Audri Lin, South Dakota, and Kristian Nunn, Hampton, Ga.
