Paula J. Hodson Klingaman, 68, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Rosewood Care Center of Moline following a long battle with cancer. A Memorial Visitation for Paula will be held from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 4th Ave E., Milan. There will be short time for remarks by the family and friends at 6:30 p.m. and all attendees are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering at Cabana's Bar and Grille, 2120 4th Ave. in Rock Island immediately following services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in care of the family.
Paula Jean was born on March 31, 1948 in Rock Island, a daughter of Benjamin F. and Marilyn Fitzpatrick Hodson. She graduated from Rock Island High School in the Class of 1966. She married Michael Klingaman in 1968 and three sons were born to their union. In the past, Paula had worked for Geifman Food Stores, Bonnett Wholesale Florists and she retired as a Shift Supervisor at CVS in Milan.
Paula greatly enjoyed reading and watching football with her sons.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Chad (Christine) Klingaman, Aledo, Jason (Kristine) Klingaman, Milan and Jeremy Klingaman, Milan; grandchildren, Courtney (Keith) Amy and Michaela, Ashton, Jayden, Rylie and Trey Klingaman; great grandson, Huxley Amy and siblings, Lorna Sneath, Milan, Carol Scott, Silvis, Terry (Sharon) Hodson, Moline and Frank Hodson, Milan
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Sam and brother in law, Cliff Sneath.
