Dianna Hinkle Hall

DeWITT, Iowa - Dianna Lynn (Mrs. Michael) Hall, 61, DeWitt, Iowa, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Saturday afternoon, November 21, 2009, from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Dianna was born March 9, 1948, to Jewell and Frances Hinkle in Fulton, Ill.  She graduated from Rock Island High School in 1966.  Dianna worked for John Deere, Davenport for 30 years until retirement in 2007.

Dianna was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt.  She loved flowers and very much enjoyed gardening.  Dianna had been involved with Gilda’s Club in Davenport.

Surviving are her loving husband of 12 years as well as her caregiver, Michael; a son, Mark Tschopp and his wife, Ann, Uncasville, Conn.; grandchildren, Mya, Allie and Trey Tschopp who were her pride and joy; sisters, Sue Dooley, Columbiana, Ala., June Morgan, Sikeston, Mo., Charlotte Hoover, Wappapello, Mo., Darlene (Ray) Hetherly, Wappepello, Mo., Jody Runella, West Des Moines, Iowa, and Donna (Butch) Downs, Colona, Ill.  Dianna also had many nieces, nephews and special friends.

Family and friends may visit Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2009, and at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt, from 9 until 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009.  A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Church.  The Rev. Timothy J. Carr will officiate, and burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Gilda’s Club of the Quad Cities.
