CLERMONT, Fla. - Delbert Jene Davis, 67, of Clermont, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at home surrounded by his family under the care of hospice. Delbert was born June 20, 1948, in Yuma, Colo., the son of Evelyn and Frank Stevenson and Harold Davis. He was a resident of Clermont for the past 10 years, previously living in Lakeland, Fla., and Moline. Delbert retired after 20 years from Lakeland Electric, and was a pipefitter and member of the Local 25 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union in Rock Island. He was a member of First Christian Church of Moline.
Delbert is survived by his loving wife, Linda, of 46 years; children, Matt Davis and Laurie Rietze (Perry); sister, Velma Wallace, Gallatin, Mo.; brother, Donald Davis, Kalamazoo, Mich.; and grandchildren, William, Christian and Carter.
